Lesley started Lewis & Co., CPAs, P.C. on May 1, 2003.  Lesley Lewis is a Delta County native.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Mesa State College and her Master of Science in Taxation from the Washington School of Law.  Before opening her own firm, Mrs. Lewis worked for Ernst & Young LLP in their National Tax Compliance group and with Mark S. Veta, CPA & Associates, P.C. working with small businesses and their owners.  She is a member of the Colorado Society of CPAs and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  

Lesley enjoys golfing, reading, painting, and time with family (Steve, Jacob & Elle) and friends.  She is the Treasurer of the Surface Creek Field of Dreams.  She is a past board member or officer of entities such as the Midwest Mental Health Center, The Wyatt Tietz Foundation, Cedaredge Area Chamber of Commerce, and Grand Mesa Impressionz.

Debbie Caywood  joined our firm on November 24, 2008 as the office manager.  When our Hotchkiss office opened on June 22, 2009, she became the office manager of the Hotchkiss office.  In 2015, she has moved back to the Cedaredge office as a bookkeeper.  Debbie worked in the convenience store that Lesley's parents owned for 17 years.  Debbie enjoys 4-wheeling, time with her grandkids, and makeovers with her granddaughter.

Brandi joined Lewis & Co in July 2019.  She has become a very valuable member of our administrative team.  Brandi lives in Delta with her family on their farm.  She enjoys baking, making arts and crafts, hiking, taking photos, and spending time with her family and friends.  Brandi is the smiling face you'll see and voice you'll hear when you contact our office.

Donna worked seasonally for 2 years with Lewis & Co.  In September 2020 she has joined our firm as a full-time staff accountant.  Donna has a B.S. in Business Administration with a major in accounting and a minor in computer science from the University of Montana.  Donna has relocated to Tennessee, and continues to provide fantastic service to her clients.  Donna enjoys spending time with her husband, boating, fishing, hiking and Dollywood. "If you are waiting for the right time, it is now."

Liz joined Lewis & Co in 2021.  She graduated from Cedaredge High School and worked at Big John's Lumber.  Liz attended CMU studying accounting and is now attending CSU Global focusing on accounting.  Liz recently married a Cedaredge native and is returning to her roots in Cedaredge.  Liz enjoys her husband, her dogs (Max and Ava), remodeling, hiking, and traveling.

Cristine joined the first in January of 2022.  She has worked in an office setting for over 10 years.  Cristine has two kids, born 14 years and two days apart and she has been happily married for over six years. She has three cats, two dogs, and a turtle squeezed into her happy little home in Eckert. She loves the Western Slope and will always call it home. She enjoys floating the river in the summer and sledding with the family in the winter.  "Laughter really is the best medicine, so laugh like your life depends on it."

Tristy joined our firm in August 2024.  She was born and raised in Cedaredge Colorado where she graduated at Cedaredge Highschool in 2022. Tristy is attending college at Western Governors University online for Accounting along with studying for bookkeeping. She worked in the schools alongside her parents who have both taught in Cedaredge for over 20 years. She enjoys the outdoors especially fishing and camping with her dog Wiley, along with dirt biking and hunting. She also loves to decorate and design spaces within homes. "Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try."

Ember joined our firm in February 2024.  She graduated from Cedaredge High School in 2020 and was born and raised on the Western Slope. She worked for her family business and decided to branch away and see what else the world has to offer her.  She enjoys traveling with her loved ones, riding ATV's on the Mesa, and swimming with her yellow lab 'Ruger'. She is currently on the path of finding who she is and what she wants to be.  "Not all who wonder are lost"
